RBI GRADE B PHASE 2 EXAM 2015 ANALYSIS AND EXPECTED CUTOFF

Reserve Bank of India conducted RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam 2015 today. The exam shift of Mandatory papers on English and Social and Economic Issues is over and we bring to you the detailed analysis of these 2 papers. Read on for RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam 2015 Analysis and Expected Cutoff.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam 2015 Analysis

Each of the exams had the duration of 90 minutes. This was the first time that RBI was conducting RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam in this new pattern.

Overall Level of RBI Phase 2 Exam was Easy.

English Language Section

No letter was given in the examination. Only Precis Writing and Essay writing were given in the examination. Both the Precis Writing and Essay Writing had 50 marks each in the section.

Topics given for Essay Writing were:

  • Gold Monetisation Scheme
  • Peace and Climate Change
  • Chinese Slowdown

Economic and Social Issues

The section had 40 Questions with Differential Marking scheme. Different weightage of marks ranged from 5 mark, 1.5 mark and 1 mark.

  1. 6 questions:  5 marks = 30 marks
  2. 19 questions:  2.5 marks = 47.5 marks
  3. 15 questions: 1.5 marks = 22.5 marks

Most of the questions were from Current Affairs. The questions asked were factual in nature. Also, there were several questions asked from Economic Survey and even Government Schemes were asked in the examination.

On an average students have attempted 25-28 questions in the section, amounting to 55 to 65 Marks.
